Mr. Stitch's Expeditions - INDIVIDUAL MONTH (2026)

Mr. Stitch's Expeditions - INDIVIDUAL MONTH (2026)

This month we are enjoying some island time in Crete and all the beautiful history, artwork, scenery, and architecture it has to offer.

This month's colourway is a gorgeous watercolour blend of soft, beautiful spring hues - sandy taupe, soft grey, earthy caramel, dusty eucalyptus, overcast sky blue, and romantic mauve. It's tonal complement is Flax, one of our standalone colourways.

Beth @things.beth.makes is back with a new sock pattern this month - the Mythrise Socks!

The Mythrise Sock Knitting Pattern is a top-down colorwork sock pattern designed to be an easy entry into stranded colorwork for newer knitters, while being interesting enough for more experienced knitters to enjoy.

The pattern begins with a corrugated ribbing cuff, which is honestly the hardest part of the design (but so worth the texture), before transitioning into a striped leg with a short, simple stranded colorwork section. Designed with a Dutch heel flap and a double gusset, the rest of the construction is knit in stockinette right up to the toe. A straightforward, and relaxing project for sock knitters of all skill levels.

Knit cuff-down with fingering weight yarn, the pattern features a double gusset and wedge toe. I’ve included a photo tutorial for the double gusset to ensure knitters of all skill levels can follow the arch shaping technique with ease, as well as a link to a video tutorial. A finishing tutorial is also provided to help you avoid squared-off edges when grafting the toe with Kitchener stitch.

Graded to five sizes ranging from children to adults, the pattern has been fully tested and tech edited.

This listing is for this month's offering on whatever quantity and base you choose.

You have the choice between individual 100g skeins on a range of bases, or a sock set on either Snowflake Sock or Deep Freeze DK (which includes a 100g skein of the colourway and a 50g skein of the coordinating tonal).

The "Sock Set with Pattern" option includes the weight of yarn required for the pattern. This means that January-February and September-December will be DK, and March-August will be Snowflake Sock. It ALSO includes the patterns - new (2026) patterns in even months and relaunched patterns (2025) in odd months.

DUO listings are for a single 100g skein of both the main variegated colourway and the coordinating tonal.

Please note that this is a DYED-TO-ORDER listing, so please expect to wait!!

Due to the nature of hand-dyed yarn, skeins can differ slightly both between and within dye lots. Alternating skeins is recommended.

While I do my best to both capture and portray accurate colourways, please note that there may be differences due to monitors.

Despite fully exhausting, washing and rinsing all skeins, to remove excess dye, some bleeding may still occur. Hand washing yarn is recommended - in cold water to limit the bleeding - and lay flat to dry.

Please note that all yarn is dyed in a pet-friendly household.
