Mr. Stitch's Expeditions - INDIVIDUAL MONTH (2026)

Mr. Stitch's Expeditions - INDIVIDUAL MONTH (2026)

This month we diving into history in Mongolia and searching for the tomb of Genghis Khan!

This month's colourway is an autumnal mix of oranges and reds (pumpkin, monarch, rust, maroon, and a hint of maple), streaks of rich brown and black, and earthy speckles atop a warm olive wood base. It's tonal contrast is Granite, from our Studies in the Arctic Collection.

This month's "sock set with pattern" is another BRAND-NEW Beth @things.beth.makes offering - the Gobi Steppe Socks!

Inspired by the armor and woven motifs of Genghis Khan’s warriors, the Gobi Steppe Socks use a repetitive pattern of X’s and diamonds to make the most of shifting desert tones. It’s an engaging, rhythm-driven colorwork repeat that’s easy to make and easy to style.

This pattern is worked cuff-down with a diamond gusset for arch shaping, and a wedge toe for versatility. Graded in 5 sizes, it includes written and charted instructions, helpful tips and tricks, and time efficient video tutorials so you feel supported every step of the way.

This listing is for this month's offering on whatever quantity and base you choose.

You have the choice between individual 100g skeins on a range of bases, or a sock set on either Snowflake Sock or Deep Freeze DK (which includes a 100g skein of the colourway and a 50g skein of the coordinating tonal).

The "Sock Set with Pattern" option includes the weight of yarn required for the pattern. This means that January-February and September-December will be DK, and March-August will be Snowflake Sock. It ALSO includes the patterns - new (2026) patterns in even months and relaunched patterns (2025) in odd months.

DUO listings are for a single 100g skein of both the main variegated colourway and the coordinating tonal.

Please note that this is a DYED-TO-ORDER listing, so please expect to wait!!

Due to the nature of hand-dyed yarn, skeins can differ slightly both between and within dye lots. Alternating skeins is recommended.

While I do my best to both capture and portray accurate colourways, please note that there may be differences due to monitors.

Despite fully exhausting, washing and rinsing all skeins, to remove excess dye, some bleeding may still occur. Hand washing yarn is recommended - in cold water to limit the bleeding - and lay flat to dry.

Please note that all yarn is dyed in a pet-friendly household.
