Mr. Stitch's Expeditions - INDIVIDUAL MONTH (2026)

We are back at it again this month, adventurers. Join Mr. Stitch and I as we head to Puerto Rico in search of the elusive Chupacabra!

This month's colourway is an earthy blend of autumnal hues, including rusty reds, cinnamon-leaning oranges, and a gorgeous assortment of browns - think maple, chocolate, and caramel - all atop a sandy base filled with olive speckling. It's complementary tonal is Desert Sun, from our Mummy Collection.

This month's "sock set with pattern" is another of Beth's @things.beth.makes stand-out patterns from last year's club, the Frosted Static socks! 

This is a DK-weight stranded colorwork design, worked cuff down with a classic heel flap and double gusset shaping for a comfortable fit; finished with a wedge toe. The pattern is graded to 5 sizes, fitting everyone from kids to adults. Instructions are provided in both written and charted formats, so you can follow along however you prefer. To make things even smoother, you’ll find a photo tutorial for the double gusset inside, along with links to example videos to help guide you through.

This pattern is great if you’ve been wanting to add a bit of colorwork to your sock knitting toolkit—simple, approachable, and engaging without being overwhelming.

This listing is for this month's offering on whatever quantity and base you choose. 

You have the choice between individual 100g skeins on a range of bases, or a sock set on either Snowflake Sock or Deep Freeze DK (which includes a 100g skein of the colourway and a 50g skein of the coordinating tonal). 

The "Sock Set with Pattern" option includes the weight of yarn required for the pattern. This means that January-February and September-December will be DK, and March-August will be Snowflake Sock. It ALSO includes the patterns - new (2026) patterns in even months and relaunched patterns (2025) in odd months. 

DUO listings are for a single 100g skein of both the main variegated colourway and the coordinating tonal.
