Efflorescence
Efflorescence
Efflorescence is a soft and beautiful pale blue-meets-grey hue. It leans slightly warm, with a mousey grey undertone and a minimally cool country blue overtone. Despite its light, neutral vibe, this beauty has some depth!

Chemically speaking, efflorescence occurs when water (moisture) invades a porous surface (brick, stone, or stucco), dissolving the salts that are already present. The solution then migrates to the surface, where the water evaporates, leaving behind a coating of salt. This crystalline deposit typically has a white or greyish tint.
