In maritime law, when a vessel (with a KNOWN owner) is left neglected/abandoned, it is considered derelict. This can happen in a variety of ways, from neglect and intentional "dumping" to theft, breaking loose and drifting away, and severe weather like flooding and hurricanes.

These vessels can often pose challenges for the environment - blocking navigational channels, damage to ecosystems, and diminishing recreational value. Fuel or hazardous materials present can leak, vessels can disintegrate and break apart, causing widespread debris, threatening marine life, and coastal resources.

Due to the nature of hand-dyed yarn, skeins can differ slightly both between and within dye lots. Alternating skeins is recommended.

While I do my best to both capture and portray accurate colourways, please note that there may be differences due to monitors.

Despite fully exhausting, washing and rinsing all skeins, to remove excess dye, some bleeding may still occur. Hand washing yarn is recommended - in cold water to limit the bleeding - and lay flat to dry.
