North Cap Cardiana Kit (Yarn + Pattern)

North Cap Cardiana Kit (Yarn + Pattern)

Laura is at it again! This time, she designed a beautiful beachy cardigan-meets-ruana, the Northcap Cardiana. It's simple lacey stitching is a fun and exciting pattern to work on, and the finished piece is PEAK summer vibes!

This listing is includes both the yarn needed to make your own cardiana AND a copy of the pattern! This is a dyed to order listing, so please expect to wait 4-6 weeks for shipping.

As part of the Captiva Collection, the North Cap Cardiana (Cardigan + Ruana) uses stitch work inspired by the gentle gulf waves lapping the shell-speckled shores of Captiva Island and is the perfect breezy layering piece that your wardrobe has been calling for. The pattern includes instructions for both a cardigan and ruana version.

Constructed flat in seamed panels with the sleeves worked in rounds, the North Cap Cardiana uses a combination of eyelet stitches for an airy drape and a delicate braided texture sure to catch all the compliments. The bottom edge and sleeves have a textured wave border for the perfect finishing touch.

The North Cap Cardiana is designed to have 8-14” of positive ease at the bust for a beachy, flowy look. It is written for 4 sizes (from xs-5x) and includes directions to completely customize the length and width so that anybody with any body can rock this garment!

Due to the nature of hand-dyed yarn, skeins can differ slightly both between and within dye lots. Alternating skeins is recommended.

While I do my best to both capture and portray accurate colourways, please note that there may be differences due to monitors.

Despite fully exhausting, washing and rinsing all skeins, to remove excess dye, some bleeding may still occur. Hand washing yarn is recommended - in cold water to limit the bleeding - and lay flat to dry.

Please note that all yarn is dyed in a pet-friendly household.
