Hartshorne Hat Kit (Yarn + Pattern)

Hartshorne Hat Kit (Yarn + Pattern)

Impress everyone you see this winter with your own Hartshorne Hat! Its deceptively simple row repeats make for a great dive into fair isle crochet colorwork with an absolutely stunning and seemingly elaborate design!

This listing is for two skeins of yarn dyed on our Winter Worsted base, and a copy of the pattern. You can also choose a kit with a mystery faux fur pom. You are free to mention preferences for the pom at checkout, but no promises - I will definitely match it as best as I can though!

ABOUT THE DESIGN:

This hat is constructed bottom up. First, the ribbed brim is made in turned rows. The first and last rows are seamed to form a ring, and the body is worked in continuous, unturned rounds. After reaching the desired height, there are decrease rows and the top of the hat is cinched closed.

Due to the nature of hand-dyed yarn, skeins can differ slightly both between and within dye lots. Alternating skeins is recommended.

While I do my best to both capture and portray accurate colourways, please note that there may be differences due to monitors.

Despite fully exhausting, washing and rinsing all skeins, to remove excess dye, some bleeding may still occur. Hand washing yarn is recommended - in cold water to limit the bleeding - and lay flat to dry.

Please note that all yarn is dyed in a pet-friendly household.
