Annona Sweater Kit (Yarn + Pattern)

The Annona Sweater is a stunning design by the incomparable Courtney @ilovetinderbox. She was inspired by a moody fade of Echoes hues and created a fading crochet sweater! This kit listing is for the yarn required to make your very own Annona. You will be able to choose 1-5 colourways to create your fade, from ANY available in our catalogue. Please see the images for a chart with required skeins for your size! All skeins will be dyed on our Icy Sock base - a LIGHT fingering weight, 3-ply Merino/Nylon blend with excellent structure, beautiful texture, and incredible drape.

ABOUT THE DESIGN:

This pattern is top-down, in the round construction with short rows for the perfect fit! Due to the yarn management of this fade, this pattern is written as intermediate. However, you could do it all in one colour and it would be an advanced beginner garment!

All patterns are written in US crochet terms.

Pattern is made for adult women’s sizes XS-5XL, based on bust sizes:
XS- up to 30 inches
S- 31-34 inches
M- 35-38 inches
L- 39-42 inches
XL- 43-46 inches
2XL- 47-50 inches
3XL- 51-54 inches
4XL- 55-58 inches
5XL- 59-62 inches

Materials:
• 3.5 mm crochet hook
• With at least 1/3 in Colour A, a total of approximately 2330 (2580, 2840, 3120, 3440)(3790, 4170, 4590, 5050) metres of fingering weight yarn, OR 1165(1290, 1420, 1560, 1720)(1895, 2085, 2295, 2525) metres of DK weight yarn, sample done in The Frosted Stitch Icy Sock base in the Echoes Collection colourways.

• 1 stitch marker + optional 12 more stitch markers
• Yarn needle & scissors

Bust sizes 27-34 inches, 6 Skeins = 2820y/2580m (2A, 1B-E)

Bust sizes 35-38 inches, 7 Skeins = 3290y/3010m (3A, 1B-E)

Bust sizes 39-42 inches, 8 Skeins = 3760y/3440m (3A, 1B-D, 2E)

Bust sizes 43-50 inches, 9 Skeins = 4230y/3870m (3A, 2B, 1C-D, 2E)

Bust sizes 51-54 inches, 10 Skeins = 4700y/4300m (4A, 2B, 1C, 1D, 2E)

Bust sizes 55-58 inches, 11 Skeins = 5170y/4730m (4A, 2B-C, 1D, 2E)

This sweater design use our newest base, Icy Sock. It is an 85% SW Merino/15% BIODEGRADABLE Nylon 3-ply blend. It is incredibly light, gorgeously textured and has beautiful definition! Each skein is 470y/100g.

If you wish to change the “colour make-up” of the sweater (that is, if you’d prefer a 3 or 4 colour fade instead) feel free to choose the same colour in multiple drop down menus to achieve your goal.
